Fiber Optics

fiber lasers (experience with broad range of fiber gain media)

The available competence is demonstrated by the scientific publications of Dr. Rüdiger Paschotta and the Encyclopedia of Laser Physics and Technology. Dr. Paschotta has a deep physical understanding and self-made software for calculating propagation modes and dispersion properties of fibers, the development of optimized fiber designs, the optimization of various kinds of rare-earth-doped fiber amplifiers, and the simulation of ultrashort pulse propagation in fibers.
