Buying Beam Combining Optics
Various kinds of optical elements can be used for different methods of beam combining – for example, beam splitters, diffraction gratings, and other diffractive optical elements. These optics are employed in high-power laser systems, optical communication, and scientific research to combine multiple beams into a single, higher-power output.
Making Good Purchase Decisions
As the most professional photonics purchasing portal, RP Photonics helps you to not only to find all relevant suppliers (not limited to our advertisers), but also to make good purchasing decisions.
NEW: Structured Decision Process
Purchasing involves a lot of responsibility. We recommend that you apply best practice by using the following structured process: Go through the following expandable sections, complete the form and finally come to a purchase decision. You can then print that to a PDF for documenting the process.

![]() Pioneering Photonics Alpes Lasers SAAvenue des Pâquiers 1 2072 St-Blaise Switzerland |
The Alpes Lasers Beam Combiner is a platform that allows the output beam of two different quantum cascade lasers in standard HHL housing to be combined into a single beam. The system uses fixed optics to rotate the polarization of one of the beam and combines them using a polarizing plate, resulting in a combined beam with the combined power of both original beams. The platform is supplied with both laser housing installed and aligned. The lasers use separate drivers (drivers and temperature controllers sold separately) and can be driven independently or concurrently. Product-specific web page |
