Where to Buy First Surface Mirrors

Knight Optical has a range of first surface mirrors available. Coatings include UV enhanced aluminium (180–650 nm), enhanced aluminium (450–650 nm), dielectric (450–700 nm), NIR dielectric (700–1604nm), ion-plated silver (450–2000 nm), and protected gold (750 nm to far IR). We also offer a variety of different flatness options dependent on the application, from 2λ down to λ/10. Custom mirrors are also available if our stock optics are not a match for your requirements.

UltraFast Innovations (UFI®) offers a range of first surface mirrors, including both dielectric and metal-coated versions. We particularly emphasize mirrors with broad bandwidth and well controlled chromatic dispersion.

Edmund Optics offers a range of laser, flat, metal substrate, focusing, or specialty optical mirrors in a multitude of reflective coating options, including protected aluminum, enhanced aluminum, protected silver, protected gold, and dielectric.

LASEROPTIK offers a wide range of dielectric and metal coatings for first surface mirrors – for different spectral regions and including special designs e.g. for multiline performance, OPO applications and with tailored chromatic dispersion. We can also deposit such coatings on special substrates.

We concentrate on a single manufacturing technology – ion beam sputtering (IBS). Our dielectric mirrors are available in multiwavelength or broadband configurations in spectral range from 193 nm up to 5000 nm, feature low absorption and are optimized for your application.

EKSMA Optics offers a wide range of dielectric first-surface windows as well as metal-coated mirrors. Our metallic mirrors feature a moderate level of reflection over a very broad spectral range. Protected gold coatings are suggested for applications in the IR, protected silver is the most efficient in VIS, while protected aluminum is a popular economical choice for the entire 300 nm – IR range. We also offer enhanced silver mirrors optimized for best performance with femtosecond lasers.
