Where to Buy Gradient-index Lenses
Gradient-index lenses (GRIN lenses) provide focusing without any curved surfaces. They are widely used for fiber beam collimation, fiber-to-fiber coupling, endoscope objectives, and as mode field adapters and contact lenses, offering precise control over light propagation in compact optical systems.

The Future Depends on Optics 101 East Gloucester Pike Barrington, NJ 08007 United States |
Our GRIN lenses are designed to provide a 0.55 numerical aperture, and are available with two working distance options. Lenses with a zero working distance are ideal for collimation of single and multi-mode optical fibers and laser diodes because the lens can be positioned and glued directly to the emission source. For focusing applications, or in instances where the lens can’t be in direct contact with the emission source, all lenses are available with a small working distance as well. Each lens is available uncoated (approximately 12% reflection loss), or with a BBAR coating option for R < 0.5%. See us at VISION 2024 in Stuttgart, Oct. 08–10 (booth 10 D 50), SPIE Photonex UK 2024 in Manchester, UK, Oct. 30–31 (booth 208), Optics & Photonics Sweden 2024 in Gothenburg, Nov. 5–8 (booth LE 21), Compamed Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany, Nov. 11–14 (booth A8C11) and Advanced Solid State Lasers Conference in Osaka, Japan, Oct. 20–24 (booth 120)! |
