Micro-optics, which are between a few micrometers and a millimeter in size, are difficult to handle throughout the whole coating process. OPTOMAN, by solely concentrating on Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) technology and mastering it, is capable of manufacturing IBS-coated micro-optical systems with low absorption transmissive coatings, which pushes the overall efficiency to the new levels. On fast axis collimators (FAC), for example, low absorption coatings minimize the unwanted effects originating from the heat generated by the laser diode, which ensures environmental stability while maintaining the desired optical configurations. |
