G&H Pockels cell drivers have been developed to complement our range of Pockels Cells. High quality components are integrated into our designs to maximize lifetime, safety, and reliability. Our Pockels cell drivers include the Q-series Q-switch drivers and R-series regenerative amplifier drivers. Q-switch drivers provide a fast rise time followed by a longer decay time. Regenerative amplifier drivers have a square pulse with a fast rise and fall time, adjustable pulse width and may be operated to 100 kHz or more. The Q series product line includes the Lab Q-Drive, OEM Q-Drive, and QDP models while the R series product line includes the R200, the R200 System, the HVR, and the HVR System.

EKSMA Optics has Pockels cell drivers designed for a wide range of applications and operating modes: pulse selection, Q-switching, cavity dumping, CW beam chopping and burst modes. The drivers are available for various output voltages, repetition rates and rise/fall times of the high voltage pulses.

The KMLabs Eclipse is a high repetition rate, half wave Pockels cell and driver unit, designed for laser pulse picking at up to 20 kHz. The Eclipse has a minimum window of 10 ns, and >90% throughput between 750 nm and 850 nm. KMLabs’ compact design allows the driver to be packaged in with the optical unit, thus minimizing the high voltage line-length, and thereby maximizing the switching speed. The high voltage source for the Eclipse is an external, 19”w x 13”d x 3.5”h unit.

Using a variety of techniques for generating high-voltage pulses with nanosecond and subnanosecond rise/fall times, ALPHALAS provides advanced Pockels cell drivers, pulse pickers, nanosecond and subnanosecond high-voltage generators. The applications include but are not limited to: active Q-switching, cavity dumping, amplitude and phase modulation, pulse slicing, time-of-flight measurements and others. The HVS series high-voltage switches can operate at up-to 10 kV and at frequencies up to the 100-kHz range. Customer-specific devices for higher voltages or special applications can also be provided. Single-switch and push-pull configurations are available as standard devices or customized designs. Complete setups of high-voltage switches with Pockels cells and high-voltage power supplies can be delivered either from stock or with short lead times.
