Spectra Quest Lab offers a 5-μW class CW tunable terahertz light source emitting from 300 GHz to 4.5 THz. It utilizes A UTC-PD (Uni-Travelling Carrier Photo Diode) as a terahertz mixer, and ASE-free tunable diode laser as a mixing light source. The UTC-PD developed by NTT-EL enables highly efficient generation of THz waves. Our ASE-free tunable diode laser, developed by ourselves, realizes low-noise THz wave and wide and rapid tuning with a high resolution.
