Company Description

Integrated Optics is a high-tech manufacturer of very compact laser sources for spectroscopy, particle analysis, quantum and LiDAR. Since 2012 Integrated Optics has developed a proprietary micro-optics assembly method, based on robotics and unique software solutions. We have developed laser assembly workstations ourselves in order to ensure the highest scalability of manufacturing, complete process control and fast adaptation to customer needs. Wide range of compact power electronics, in-house CNC machining and strong competences in optics design allow us to handle sophisticated engineering projects tailoring specific applications.

Available wavelengths in the blue range are: 405 nm, 450 nm, 488 nm. MatchBox CW lasers come in various configurations and center wavelengths. They can be single longitudinal mode (or narrow spectrum or multi-mode (regular spectrum), they have different types of output: MM/SM/PM fiber coupled, free space or SMA port versions. All of them come in the same, compact housing which contains everything: optical layout, driver electronics, TEC temperature control.

There are more than 150 CW laser configurations in the MatchBox product family. It offers a wide range of diode lasers, ranging from 375 nm to 1550 nm, coming in regular or narrow spectrum versions, having multiple options of output: MM/SM/PM fiber coupled, free space or SMA port. Fiber coupling is inside the sealed housing and temperature stabilized. MatchBox lasers have a very compact housing, which contains optical layout, driver electronics, that can enable up to 10 MHz externally triggered modulation and TEC temperature control. MatchBox lasers can also combine up to 4 different diode-wavelengths in one single housing with the same record-small footprint of 30 × 50 × 18 mm.

MatchBox series features diode-pumped lasers that have excellent beam quality, power stability and high contrast side-mode-suppression ratio. As all of the other MatchBox lasers, they come in various configurations considering output type (MM/SM/PM fiber coupled, free space and SMA port), wavelengths (532 nm, 1030 nm, 1064 nm, 1319 nm and 1342 nm). Some lasers are also available with single-longitudinal-mode configuration (532 nm, 1030 nm, 1064 nm).

All of the MatchBox CW lasers are available in a fiber coupled configuration: whether it is a single wavelength diode, or DPSS laser, or multiwavelength laser combiner, it can be coupled into multi-mode, single-mode or polarization maintaining fibers. Fiber coupling is inside the sealed housing and temperature stabilized. Single mode fibers have 3–5 µm diameter cores, while multi-mode fiber core can be chosen 50 µm to 600 µm in diameters. Standard fiber termination options are FC/PC, FC/APC and SMA connector and the fiber cladding is metal, PVC-cladding is possible on request. For higher quantity-demands, a custom fiber termination can be made with a collimator against NRE.
