Products

ProductDescription (only for enhanced product entries)
femtosecond lasers

KMLabs provides a range of femtosecond laser products including the Y-Fi™ family of femtosecond fiber lasers and the Griffin™ family of femtosecond ti:sapphire lasers. The Yi-Fi™ series gives high average power, high repetition rate in the near-IR. Pulse duration is <200 fs with tunable repetition rate from 1–10 MHz. The laser is based on a single rugged opto-mechanical platform and is engineered for hands-free operation. The Griffin™ series provides tunable repetition rate and bandwidth.

fiber lasers

The KMLabs Y-Fi™ family of products provides high average power, high repetition rate near-IR ultrafast fiber lasers. Pulse duration is <200 fs with tunable repetition rate from 1–10 MHz. The laser is based on a single rugged opto-mechanical platform and is engineered for hands-free operation.

Applications include multiphoton microscopy, chemical spectroscopy, and micromachining with focus on biomaterials, glass, and plastics.

high harmonic generation (equipment for …)

KMLabs’ XUUS™ is a coherent EUV/XUV light source based on high-harmonic generation (HHG). It is a fully engineered and integrated commercial high order harmonic source based on a single rugged opto-mechanical platform. Applications include EUV lithographic metrology, high resolution coherent imaging, ultrafast magnetization and spintronics, ARPES, and attosecond materials science.

titanium-sapphire lasers

The KMLabs Wyvern™ and Dragon™ offers the largest series of single-stage solutions as well as the industry’s highest power kHz class Ti:sapphire lasers in the market today. The short pulses, tunable repetition rate, high energy and excellent spatial profile provided by KMLabs’ patented cryo-cooled amplifiers are developed to remove the limitations placed on your project by other manufacturers and lets you control the specifications.

white light interferometers

Chromatis is the only production-grade GDD test instrument for characterizing dispersion in optical components. It is a broadband optical test instrument that quickly and accurately measures the full dispersive properties, is user friendly, self-calibrating, and highly accurate. Read more in our article titled GDD Measurements boost ultrafast laser performance in Photonics Spectra. Chromatis has become the industry standard for GDD measurements, and at the 2015 SPIE Laser Damage Symposium, it was the reference for judging performance at the annual Thin Film Coating Competition.
