OPTOMAN offers high-performance sputtered anti-reflective coatings with reflectance per surface down to R < 0.01%. IBS coatings are optimized for temperature and humidity independent performance, high damage threshold (in the range of 20 – 30 J/cm2, 1064 nm, 10 ns, S-on-1). Single wavelength, multiwavelength, or broadband coatings can be designed for 200 – 5000 nm spectral range.

OPTOMAN offers custom-tailored laser beam combining optics with durable sputtered coatings optimized for laser line or broadband performance, s-pol or p-pol components, ultrashort pulses or CW applications, highest LIDT, and small splitting tolerance. Steep edge dichroic mirrors are available in efficiency-optimized configurations (transmittance >99% or reflectance >99.9%), also featuring minimum pulse dispersion and no spectral drift.

OPTOMAN offers laser beam splitters which are optimized to split or combine high-power laser beams operating in the visible through infrared wavelengths. OPTOMAN design coatings with high accuracy splitting ratios and low GDD behavior for an optimal result in ultrafast applications. Non-polarizing beamsplitter coatings with S and P components matched to within 1% are also available.

OPTOMAN can guide you through the features of chirped mirror designs and manufacture optimal dispersive mirrors for your laser system. Our dispersive mirrors feature predefined and flat GDD. GTI mirrors can be designed for any specific GDD requirement from slightly negative (−20 fs2) down to −5000 fs2.

OPTOMAN manufactures a range of application-optimized custom laser optics. To achieve highest possible accuracy, repeatability and quality we employ ion-beam sputtering (IBS) technology. Custom-tailored IBS-coated optics feature high LIDT, precise spectral accuracy, durability and environmental stability.
Some of the special custom optics we do for our clients include: knife-edge coated optics, 100% coated aperture components, segmented coatings, coatings on multi-surface prisms, coatings on micro lens assemblies, and large diameter wafers.

OPTOMAN's IBS-coated wavelength separators feature spectral drift-free performance, which is why very sharp edge configurations are feasible. IBS coated dichroic mirrors feature spectral drift-free performance that allows very sharp edge configurations. OPTOMAN can make mirrors with transmittance over 99% and reflectance over 99.9%. Dichroic mirrors are optimized for ultrafast applications and feature minimum pulse dispersion.

OPTOMAN employs IBS technology to manufacture dispersive mirrors made for mid-IR (2 – 6 µm). Broadband dispersive and low GDD mirrors for mid-IR range can reduce or even completely eliminate the need to use combinations of various bulk materials to compensate dispersion.
Custom mid-IR optics can be designed for spectral range 1 – 5 µm, using standard or CaF2, MgF2, YAG, sapphire or silicon substrates.

OPTOMAN's ultrafast laser line mirrors are designed to cover popular Yb:KGW, Yb:KYW, Yb:YAG, and Ti:sapphire laser lines with a reflectance of more than 99.99% and at the same time maintain the GDD to be as close to zero as possible. Mirrors with predefined negative or positive GDD values can be designed. Laser line mirrors can be optimized for perfect performance at specific narrow bandwidth laser lines.

OPTOMAN's AR-coated lenses are optimized for high laser power applications. These lenses can be used for intracavity, multi-kW CW, and ultrafast pulse applications. Sputtered anti-reflective coatings feature reflectance per surface down to R < 0.01%.

OPTOMAN optical windows with IBS coatings are optimized to have excellent spectral performance, high damage threshold, temperature and humidity independent performance, and a negligible fatigue effect. OPTOMAN can coat very basic round and rectangular windows as well as wedges and prisms with extremely complex shapes. Sputtered anti-reflective coatings feature reflectance per surface down to R < 0.01%.

OPTOMAN has output couplers for ultrafast lasers with negligible GDD, both in reflection and transmission. Output couplers, as intracavity components, have to handle extreme energy densities. That is why OPTOMAN coatings are optimized for a high damage threshold, which exceeds 50 J/cm2 at 1064 nm, 20 ns.
OPTOMAN's extremely low-loss mirrors have a maximum reflectivity of R > 99.998% and total losses (absorption, scatter, and transmission) below 15 ppm at a discrete wavelength and angle of incidence. Coatings are applied on high purity fused silica substrates (plane, spherical or wedged) super-polished to an RMS roughness of < 2 Å. Mirrors are available with a CRD measurement that prove reflectivity and loss values.

OPTOMAN specializes in providing custom-tailored thin-film polarizers optimal in terms of extinction ratio, angle of incidence, and damage threshold. Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) technology enables us to manufacture polarizers with an extinction ratio higher than 10000:1 at a 45° angle of incidence while maintaining a >20 J/cm2 damage threshold at 1064 nm, 10 ns, 100 Hz.

OPTOMAN designs and manufactures application-optimized ultrafast optics: dispersive mirrors (chirped and GTI design), low GDD ultrafast broadband and laser line mirrors. OPTOMAN focuses exclusively on IBS technology, which allows to sputter coatings exhibit excellent resistance to laser irradiation and meet cutting edge spectral requirements.

OPTOMAN can manufacture custom dielectric thin films and high-power laser optics for UV applications starting from 200 nm. Various type of coatings – anti-reflection, thin-film polarizer, broadband or laser line high reflectivity can be optimized for your application.
