Sheaumann Laser

Sheaumann Laser offers diode bars with emission wavelengths between 780 nm and 1710 nm, suitable e.g. for pumping solid-state lasers and fiber lasers. Different packaging options are available: B-mount, C-mount, CL-mount, CS mount and fiber-coupled in a high heat load (HHL) package.

Sheaumann Laser offers a wide range of laser diodes, ranging from low-power single-mode emitters to multimode high-power lasers. Many different packaging options (with free-space output or fiber-coupled) are available. Emission wavelengths range from 785 nm to 1710 nm.

As a breakthrough in DPSS laser technology, the MirPac is a 2.94-μm Er:YAG laser with TEM₀₀ output beam in a hermetically sealed windowed package that was the first of its kind. Operating at 2940 nm, the wavelength with strongest absorption in water, the MirPac is ideal for use in tandem with water or with materials that contain some amount of water.

Sheaumann Laser offers Fabry–Pérot laser diodes on various submounts (C2, C3, C4, C5) and in different packages. Emission wavelengths range from 785 nm to 1710 nm.

Sheaumann’s fiber-coupled modules are well-suited for applications where a circular, homogenized beam is desired, such as those utilizing DPSS end-pumping or compact ones requiring simple optics. Using proprietary diode fabrication and fiber preparation/alignment processes to achieve a low-noise output, Sheaumann offers modules with a high beam quality ideal for such applications as spectroscopy and free-space optical communications. These unique technologies also reduce speckle, and when paired with an appropriate connector, modules can be used as high-performance pointing devices. Sheaumann manufactures spatially single-mode laser diodes with external locking options in a variety of packaging configurations, in any wavelength 780-1710 nm. An output power of up to ≈600 mW is possible depending on the wavelength and package type.

The SheauPac Signature Package with its proprietary design withstands extreme temperature and vibration conditions as often encountered in military, industrial and space applications. The 2-pin package lasers have hermetically sealed fiber-coupled packages. There are also various butterfly (7-pin and 14-pin) packages available, and our High Heat Load (HHL) packages.
