RP ProPulse – Numerical Simulation of Pulse Propagation

What the Software Does

RP ProPulse can simulate the propagation of ultrashort pulses in various situations, for example in the resonators of actively or passively mode-locked lasers, in synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillators, and in optical fibers. More specifically, the software can calculate how the electric-field distribution of femtosecond and picosecond pulses evolves in the time and frequency domain when the pulses propagate through various kinds of optical components.
