AI Features for Advertisers
RP Photonics offers several AI-based features on its website — partly for users, partly for advertisers (explained here).
AI Chatbot
Below the navigation, there is an input field for putting questions to our AI-based chatbot. It answers a wide range of questions concerning advertising on the RP Photonics website, so that you can get quick answers without reading through our comprehensive web pages. You may also ask in various other languages; the chatbot then replies in the language of your question.
The chatbot answers strictly on the basis of the information published on our website, and it will tell you when it does not know something rather than guessing. For anything it cannot answer — and of course for a binding quotation — please contact us directly.
AI Assistant for Product Descriptions
The key feature of our Advertising Package is to publish product descriptions, which then appear at various locations:
- in the lists of suppliers for the chosen product categories
- on the supplier's profile page
- and even in related encyclopedia articles
These texts should be optimized for usability, which requires good language, clear statements, an appropriate length and various other qualities. Here, our AI-based assistant can help a lot: it has been instructed to apply all the advice which we give to our clients. We have integrated it directly into the forms (e.g. the registration form for new suppliers), where you can see the suggested version, compare it with your original one, and edit it further.
You always keep control: nothing is published without your approval, and you can ignore the suggestions entirely.
