Newsletters from RP Photonics
RP Photonics publishes the following blogs, for which free newsletters are available (to which you can subscribe further below on this page):
|The Photonics Spotlight is a blog focusing on scientific and technological aspects in photonics and laser technology, which is associated with the RP Photonics Encyclopedia.|
|These present information on simulation and design software. It is useful both for users of that software and for those who want to learn more about it before getting a license.|
|Here you get updates on new features of our digital marketing tools, special discounts and general insight into aspects of digital photonics marketing.|
These appear roughly once per month; in any case, you will surely not be flooded with mails. They are used for distributing useful information, not just advertising messages!

Order newsletters or cancel your subscription:
- When you order a subscription, you will get a confirmation e-mail to the entered address. Only when you confirm the subscription by clicking on a link there ("double opt in"), your subscription will become active. (Only then we know that you ordered it yourself.) In case that you do not obtain the confirmation e-mail within a few hours (which may happen e.g. due to spam filters), please contact us.
- The confirmation and newsletter mails will come from the address email@example.com. It may be advisable that you put this address (or our whole domain) into the white list of your e-mail system in order to avoid that the mails are filtered out as spam.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time by submitting the form with the corresponding box(es) being unchecked. In that case, you obtain an e-mail which confirms the cancellation.
- Privacy: We will use your e-mail address solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter(s). We will certainly not give your data to any third party. For more details, see our privacy declaration (section on newsletters), which we take very serious.
