Free Listing in the RP Photonics Buyer's Guide

What Is Listed?

  • Supplier profile pages: Every registered supplier has such a page, which summarizes details like contact information and offered product categories.
  • With a free listing, you get a basic profile page with contact data, website link and the offered product categories (up to 100).
  • Pages of specific product categories (e.g. for laser diodes): Here, our users find comprehensive technical background information including
    • applications
    • variants and technology options
    • buyer-relevant considerations)
    • all suppliers for that product category

Users generally start on product category pages (which they find through search engines or our Encyclopedia), from where they find supplier profile pages and supplier websites.

Not included in the free listing: Only suppliers using our Advertising Package appear with product descriptions at several places:

These product descriptions are heavily used both by human users and by AI systems.

There are many additional features. This results in far higher referral traffic to their websites, also in much stronger branding. The resulting sales opportunities make the Ad Package worthwhile for many.

Get or Edit Your Listing

Please check if your company already has a profile page; you can use this search field (or the list of all suppliers):

If you have a profile page, there you can find the red button “Edit profile data” near the top right to get to your input form. (You can also order the Advertising Package there.)

Improve Your Free Listing

Even if you cannot spend any money, you can improve your free listing:

  • Regularly check whether your data (contact data, product selection, etc.) are up to date. Note that suppliers with up-to-date data appear higher in our lists!
  • NEW: For each registered product category, enter a landing page URL in order to send our users directly to the product-specific landing pages, rather than requiring them to find those from your homepage.
